Quick Steps To Fix ‘Scan To Email’.

A recent Office365 update has unticked the SMTP authentication box in email accounts.

This has impacted scan to email functionality.

In order to fix this, we advise you to ask your IT to do the following on the email account that the printer uses to scan:

Open the Microsoft 365 admin center and go to Users > Active users

Select the user and in the flyout that appears, click Mail

In the Email apps section, click Manage email apps

Verify the Authenticated SMTP setting: unchecked = disabled, checked = enabled

When you’re finished, click Save changes
