Gordon & MacPhail is a family-owned premium spirits company based in Elgin, Scotland. The company owns Scotch whisky distilleries, is a Scotch whisky maturation expert, and is the owner of the Scottish Gin brand, Red Door.
The company owns two distilleries, the Benromach Distillery located in Forres in Moray and in October 2022 opened The Cairn, the company’s second distillery, near Grantown-on-Spey, overlooking the River Spey towards the Cairngorms. Both distilleries offer a five-star visitor experience, offering tours and tastings, and are major attractions in the area.

How We Helped
We undertook a thorough print and document assessment to understand how Gordon & MacPhail’s business worked and immediately started to identify suitable hardware and software. After a competitive tender Agilico were awarded their managed print services contract which includes support and maintenance of all devices.
Following extensive testing we were able to transfer the company’s offices, distilleries, and visitor centres from a fleet of mixed brands and models to an integrated, unified, reliable infrastructure with centralised control and management and a streamlined software solution.
A new scanning function was set up and a move to a Cloud solution was implemented – this removed analogue processes and improved workflow processes and communication. The routing of digital documents via scanning and Cloud has eliminated legacy systems and the process is now much more efficient and environmentally sustainable.
We also provide Gordon & MacPhail’s with remote monitoring on all of their devices. This pro-active management was available as soon as the devices were installed. Our Customer Support team monitor all devices live on a real-time basis, resolving potential faults before they occur, and dispatching engineers before having to call to request one.
