As this part of our business grows, we are seeking a passionate individual to join our busy consumables team in Southampton.
What we’re looking for…
We are looking for someone that is self-motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent administrative and communication skills. You’ll be managing the consumables orders to ensure that we meet and exceed our customers’ needs.
What you’ll be doing…
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage service consumable request through the company’s intranet site.
- Create quotes for chargeable consumable requests.
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers regarding open consumable orders.
- Communicate with other departments – including sales, warehouse and accounts.
- Answer inbound customer calls.
- Make calls to customers to discuss consumables requests and answer general queries.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within an administrative role.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- An eye for detail, taking pride in your work and willing to go the extra mile to ensure quality.
- Confident telephone manner, and able to resolve difficult situations.
- Problem solver and logical thinker.
- Good understanding of Outlook and IT/database systems.
